Chelsea have told Trevoh Chalobah he won’t play for the club again after the player turned down a Deadline Day move, according to a report.
Chalobah is allegedly considered surplus to requirements at Chelsea and could be frozen out after the Blues signed Axel Disasi from Monaco this summer.
The 24-year-old Chelsea academy graduate is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury but is reportedly unlikely to have a prominent role upon his return in late September.

According to Football.London Chalobah wanted to move to Bayern Munich at the end of the recently concluded transfer window, but the Bavarian giants were only willing to take the centre-back on loan.
Thomas Tuchel, who gave Chalobah his debut at Chelsea in 2021, was so keen to sign the defender that he was happy for the player to skip his medical on Deadline Day with time running out, as per the Evening Standard.
However, Chelsea preferred to see Chalobah leave on a permanent deal and were seeking around £50million - a figure Bayern were reluctant to pay.
Nottingham Forest also allegedly came in with a late proposal to sign the centre-back, only for Chalobah to turn down the move. Chelsea are said to have accepted a re-submitted bid of £25million rising to £30million on deadline day from Steve Copper's side, only for the payer to say no, according to Matt Law.

Tottenham were also linked with a late deadline day loan deal, with Ange Postecoglou's side tipped to reignite their interest in the January transfer window.
And Chalobah has now been told there is a chance he won't play for the club again after rejecting the move to Forest. That’s despite the player having signed a new contract until 2028 last November.
At the time Chalobah told the Chelsea website: "I’m over the moon to sign this contract. It’s been an honour every time I put the shirt on. I want to give my all and do anything for this club.
"As everyone knows I’ve been here from a young age and to continue here is every kid’s dream. Whenever I get the chance, I’ll give my all for the club and look for the future ahead.

"I want to say thanks to God for this, without Him none of this would be possible. And just always believing. Thanks to my family as well and the club for trusting in me. I’ll now continue to give my all."
