The Matildas have dropped their home and away kits for the upcoming World Cup campaign on home soil.
It will be one of the most monumental tournaments in Australian football history as the Matildas get ready to bring home World Cup glory in front of their home fans.
And of course, if they’re going to secure such an achievement, they need to be dressed the part as well.

Nike has revealed the two jerseys that the players will be donning throughout the tournament.
The home kit comes decked in the traditional green and gold, however, incorporates a pour and marbling pattern to help illustrate Australia’s diverse country and community.
It’s a homage to kits of the past but with a modern twist that is set to be representative of inclusivity for the Matildas.

The away kit looks as bold as the players when they get on the pitch.
It’s vibrant, energetic and forward-thinking, and will make sure the Matildas stand out on the pitch.
The kits are part of the latest material innovation from Nike to be tuned into the specific needs of female players.
Following athlete feedback, Nike offered the players Leak Protection into the shorts to create a unique solution to absorb and hold blood.

The kits were designed with comfortability and breathability in mind - and they look stunning at the same time.
Australian forward Hayley Raso said of the jerseys: “Wearing the National Team jersey fills me with so much pride. There’s no greater honour than walking out into a full stadium, singing the National Anthem and representing Australia on the world stage.

“I absolutely loved the new kit when I first saw it, I think it represents the team perfectly with its bold and bright design to match all the personalities that we have in the squad. The kit definitely makes a statement and I’m so excited to wear it in the upcoming tournament.”
Meanwhile, defender Ellie Carpenter said the design of the kits were a representation of the squad.
“They really represent us by listening to us, what our beliefs are, what we think is important and they put that into the process of designing the kit,” she said.
“We’re really grateful that they’ve listened to us and given us a voice to show what is important and what we believe in.
