A lad was spotted in a restaurant with American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift [kind of] after he finished bottom of his Fantasy Football league.
Gregor Sleith took to Twitter on Saturday night to post updates of the romantic date, as his mate paid the price for an abysmal FPL season during the 2022/23 campaign.
"A boy in our team was in a fantasy football league with his mates, the lad who finished bottom for the year had to do a public forfeit," he wrote.

"They made him sit a table at a restaurant with a cut out as a date."
As you can see from the pictures below, Swift, who will bring her 'The Eras' tour to the UK next summer, smiled politely as Greig informed the waitress of his order.
After a wonderful meal [we're not sure what cardboard Taylor ordered], the pair could be seen enjoying an evening at a local casino. Gregor posted a snap from the date, saying: "She’s feeling 22 red."
Here's how social media reacted to the public forfeit. One said: "Fair play for sticking to it," while another commented: "She’s even got a menu ahahaha."

A third wrote: Buddy understands it's the only way he'll get to go out with Taylor. I respect that."
A fourth added: "Maybe the R9 trim wasn't so bad."
Greig eventually took to Twitter after the date, and appeared to suggest it was a successful evening all round. "What a night," he said before posting a clapping emoji.
In other news, an all-time Fantasy Premier League dream team based on highest points scored across a single season has been created – and it features a back three of Liverpool players.

Since the first FPL season took place in 2002/03, an unprecedented amount of people have taken part in the popular game.
In fact, when it first kicked off in 2022, less the 100,000 managers picked their squad for the season. Now, over 9 million fans assemble an imaginary team of real life football players each week.
So who are the highest scorers when it comes to goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and forwards?
Well, you may be surprised to learn that former Blackburn shot-stopper Brad Friedel is the first name on the team sheet.

Friedel's impressive tally of 187 points from the 2002/03 season still stands today. In that campaign, he kept 15 clean sheets as Blackburn finished 6th in the Premier League standings.
