Pop star Shakira is reportedly releasing a new song on her and Gerard Pique's birthday.
The couple parted company last year but their break-up has been extremely bitter and public, with shade thrown from both sides.
Shakira has mentioned her ex on a number of occasions in recent music, most brutally in "BZRP Music Session #53".

In the song, which has 221 million views on YouTube, Shakira told the father of her two children, "I'm too big for you, that's why you're with someone just like you."
She also sung: "No hard feelings babe. I wish you good luck with my so-called replacement. I don't even know what happened, you're acting so weird I don't even recognise you."
And there was also the line about Pique's new 23-year-old beau and employee for his Kosmos company, Clara Chia Marti, who he went Instagram official with this week.

Shakira said she is "worth two 22-year-olds" and that Pique "traded a Ferrari for a Twingo" and a "Rolex for a Casio" - leading to him trolling the Colombian by driving the vehicle and joking that Casio were the new sponsors of his Kings League competition.
The She Wolf singer isn't done yet though, with MARCA saying a new track will be out on February 2, the birthday which Shakira and Pique both share.
The tune is with compatriot Karol G, who came out and supported Shakira with a t-shirt containing her lyrics at an NBA game, and the video was filmed in two days.

There are rumours that while Pique will be a topic again, it will be less direct and more subtle like previous singles 'Te Felicito' and 'Monotonía'.
the 45-year-old singer has made $512,000 from YouTube, $500,000 from Amazon Music, $360,000 from Spotify and $1,200,000 from Apple Music – bringing the total to $2,500,000.
Overall, with track 'Monotonia' featuring Ozuna factored in, it's estimated Shakira has added an extra $15 million from music about her past relationship.
