Italian media have spoken out after Scott McTominay scored a crucial goal for Napoli against Inter Milan on Sunday.
After seven years with the Manchester United senior team, McTominay joined Serie A side Napoli over the summer for a reported fee of £21million, with a potential £4.2m in add-ons.
Since joining the Italian side, the Scottish international has certainly made his mark, impressing in many of his 10 appearances for his new club.

And now, the Italian media have made their feelings about McTominay clear after he scored a crucial goal against Serie A giants Inter Milan on Sunday.
As it stands, the Serie A remains tightly contested at the top of the table with just two points separating Napoli, who are in first, and Juventus, who are currently in sixth, while four teams are tied from second to fifth in the table, each with 25 points.
And as Napoli faced off against fellow title challengers Inter Milan and it was McTominay who stepped up and opened the scoring in the match with a crucial goal.

Reacting to the moment, Italian outlet Gazetta wrote: "Sir Alex Ferguson used to say that if there is a big match, it is impossible for Scott McTominay's name to be missing from the starting lineup.
"Not only is it unthinkable that Scott could be left out, but also that he won't leave his mark as only great champions can do.
"The city is already in love with McTominay, and the passion is reciprocated."
Although Inter later equalised through midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu, the shared points kept Napoli atop the Serie A table.

And fans of the Italian club also adore the former United man, as they took to social media to praise the midfielder.
Posting on X, one fan wrote: "Scott McTominay winning Serie A in his first season in Italy is gonna be amazing."
