Sergio Aguero has savagely called out Cristiano Ronaldo’s “pure luck” from free-kicks after claiming that Lionel Messi is a better goalscorer than the Al Nassr star.
Messi opened the scoring for Paris Saint-Germain in the first half against Nice on Saturday before setting up Sergio Ramos for his side’s second at the Allianz Riviera.
The 35-year-old Argentine forward has now scored a whopping 702 times in Europe, putting him one clear of Al Nassr forward Ronaldo in 105 fewer matches.

Messi’s PSG future remains uncertain ahead of his contract expiring in the summer and the Barcelona legend has attracted interest from Saudi Arabia and the MLS.
Ronaldo, on the other hand, left Manchester United last November after his contract was terminated and signed for Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr in a lucrative deal.
The 38-year-old Portuguese forward has found his footing in Saudi Arabia and has scored an impressive 11 times in 12 appearances for Al Nassr.

Ronaldo also pulled off a spectacular free-kick in Al Nassr’s 2-1 win over Abha in the Saudi Pro League last month.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has been known for producing stunning moments from free-kicks, despite also being criticised for his chequered dead-ball record.

However, the 34-year-old Manchester City legend pulled no punches towards Ronaldo and claimed the former United star’s free-kicks are down to “pure luck.”
“Look where he scores the goal from,” Aguero said.
“Come on. All free-kick goals and pure luck. Messi’s are all at the angle, stupid. But what does [Ronaldo] do? Goalkeeper’s fault.
“I think Raul has better goals, [Karim] Benzema, I think he has better ones.”
