Cristiano Ronaldo is on the verge of signing a new 'super-contract' at Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr that will see him earn an eye-watering sum per second, according to reports.
The 39-year-old forward penned a two-and-a-half-year deal with Al Nassr in December 2022 worth around £164 million per season for his on-pitch contributions, according to The Mail.
As a result, Ronaldo became the highest paid footballer in the world.

In fact, last year, the former Manchester United forward was crowned the world's highest paid athlete for the fourth time in his career after earning an estimated $260 million, which included $60 million from off-field activities.
Forbes named crypto exchange company Binance and fitness app Erakulis as partners Ronaldo plugged to his 629 million Instagram followers – not to mention Nike, Herbalife and Clear Haircare.
Since joining Al Nassr, Ronaldo has become a key player for the Saudi Arabian side, notching 75 goals and 18 assists in the 84 games he has played.

And it looks like the experienced forward will continue to represent Stefano Pioli's side in the coming months, with Saudi outlet Al Khabar, as per AS, reporting that Ronaldo is set to extend his contract for one season.
How much will he earn this time around?
According to the report, he will take home £3.19 million (€3.8m) per week at Al Nassr, which equates to around £460,000 per day, £19,166 per hour and roughly £5.3p per second.

Back in November, Ronaldo opened up on his move to Saudi Arabia during the Netflix documentary Saudi Pro League: Kickoff.
“In the beginning, everything was not easy,” he admitted. “The culture is different. My family is part of me and they always go wherever I go.
“Sometimes the kids miss Europe. It’s normal. Nothing in this life is easy. The Saudi people are very friendly. They are people like me who want to give back.”
Asked if moved to Saudi for the money, Ronaldo said: “I’m here to win. To win trophies, to make Al Nassr better, to make the Saudi Pro League better, change the culture."
