Bayern Munich star Sadio Mane has reportedly told friends he 'misses Liverpool' and would be interested in a return to the Premier League.
Mane is currently serving a club-imposed suspension for this weekend's Bundesliga fixture against Hoffenheim after he was involved in an altercation with team-mate Leroy Sane.
The pair had an on-pitch row during Tuesday's 3-0 defeat to Manchester City in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.

But tensions spilled out in the dressing room, with Bild reporting that Mane punched Sane in the mouth and that the pair had to be separated as a result.
On Thursday, Bayern confirmed that they had fined the Senegal international and that he would not be eligible to play in their upcoming league fixture.
But Bild claimed that Sane asked Bayern chiefs for the punishment not to be severe, and now considers the matter 'closed'.

However, Mane could still leave the club this summer.
Mane 'makes Liverpool confession'
According to Football Insider, via sources, Mane informed friends after his move to Bayern that he 'misses Liverpool' - the city he spent six years of his career.
The 31-year-old established himself as a star player at Anfield, winning six trophies and forming a potent attacking trio with Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.

Football Insider claim that a return to the Premier League is seen as the 'most viable option' by those within Mane's camp - although it appears unlikely that a return to Liverpool will happen.
It is said that the Reds are uncertain over a move, given Mane's age and the makeup of the squad.
Liverpool have signed two forwards - Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo - since the departure of Mane, and forward areas are not seen a priority for the club to strengthen in the transfer market this summer.
Instead, it appears that the Reds will target new midfielders, with that seen as a key part of the side in which to make key improvements.
