Yet another bizarre fight format dubbed 'arm boxing' has emerged out of Russia. Watch the video below:
A clip of the outlandish sport has circulated on social media and shows two fighters strapped by their waists to a table.

They appear to be holding each other's left hand, leaving their right fist free to punch their opponent across the table.
A referee is stood between the two fighters but it is unclear if the fight is judged, or if a knockout is needed to win the bout.
In the clip, the two men rain down punches on each other, causing the table to move across the stage, which features a huge sign of the name of the fight promotion, 'Arena'.
Footage of the fight was posted to Instagram by @somecoldwater, along with the caption: "In Russia, this is a sport. #armboxing."
It is unclear which fighter was deemed to be the winner.

The sport appears to be similar to 'arm-wrestling boxing', which made its debut at the Siberian Power Show 2020 in Krasnoyarsk, according to Russian outlet RT.
The notorious Russian Slapping Championships also featured for the first time at the same event.
Russia has become well-known for staging strange boxing and MMA matchups in recent years.
Earlier this year, an inter-gender MMA bout between a plus-size model and a pornstar was allowed to take place in the country.

Meanwhile, another bizarre MMA fight saw a 27-stone fighter take on an opponent who weighed more than 18 stone less than him.
Perhaps the most baffling match-up, however, was a two-on-one fight that saw a 75-year-old pensioner and his grandson take on an elderly woman, a fight which makes arm-boxing seem relatively normal.
