Barcelona could soon be greeted by a new era of Ronaldinho, with the club legend's son reportedly on the verge of signing for the club.
Ronaldinho is absolutely synonymous with Barca, joining the club in 2003 and winning two La Liga titles and the Champions League with the club.
So good was some of his play during his time at the Nou Camp that even Real Madrid fans were forced to stand and applaud him at times.

There was a time that he was by far the best player in the world and he cemented that position by winning the Ballon d'Or in 2005.
His powers didn't last as long as many might have hoped and he clearly loved the partying lifestyle, even having a clause written into his contract about clubbing.
It's also why he was sold by Barca in 2008, worrying that his friendship with Lionel Messi might cause him to be a bad influence on the then youngster.

Now Ronaldinho's son could be the next youngster to come through the club, and they'll be hoping he has even half the talent of his iconic father.
According to journalist Adrian Sanchez, teenage forward Joao Mendes de Assis Moreira is currently on trial at the Nou Camp and reports in Brazil add that the move is 'imminent.'
The legend's son, Joao Mendes recently terminated his contract with Brazilian side Cruzeiro, leaving him free to find a new club.

He has reportedly been training with the club's Juvenil A team, where he's had his trial, and club president Joan Laporta is even taking a keen eye on how things progress.
The decision whether or not to sign the left footed forward will ultimately come down to the coaches at the club's legendary La Masia academy.
Whilst there hasn't been the stream of talent coming through the academy has there has previously, with the likes of Messi, Xavi and Andres Iniesta making up the backbone of the first team for many years, there's still plenty there for the club.
Midfielder Gavi is the pick of the most recent crop and has been extremely impressive for Xavi's team, whilst Alejandro Balde and Ansu Fati also there.

La Liga leaders Barca also bought Eric Garcia back from Manchester City, after he came through La Masia before moving on.
Of course, whilst the club would probably want to rely more on their youth products, they also seem unable to not do weird transfers, even with their finances all over the place.
They have been told they can't pull any more of the 'financial levers' that allowed them to sign some huge players last summer, like Robert Lewandowski.

Despite that, they are reportedly looking into the prospect of bringing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang back to the club, despite selling him to Chelsea just a few months ago.
