Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku could be set for a sensational reunion with Antonio Conte at Tottenham after his explosive interview, according to reports in Italy.
The Belgium international revealed last week that he is “not happy” with his situation at Chelsea, with Lukaku hinting at his desire to play for Inter Milan again.
Lukaku also claimed that he rejected an offer from defending Premier League champions Manchester City after his first season with Inter.
And another of the 28-year-old Belgian striker’s bombshell remarks included Chelsea being his ‘fourth-choice’ club he wanted to sign for last summer.
Thomas Tuchel dropped Lukaku from his squad ahead of Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
The Chelsea manager pulled no punches towards Lukaku, with Tuchel insisting that his player’s extraordinary comments “brings noise that we don’t need.”
