Rio Ferdinand has named the Manchester United star who should replace Harry Maguire as captain following their win over Liverpool.
Erik ten Hag dropped Maguire for his side's Old Trafford clash against Liverpool on Monday.
Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez started in defence, with the Red Devils picking up their first win of the new Premier League season.

Bruno Fernandes skippered his team in their 2-1 win and Ferdinand believes the Portuguese midfielder would 'benefit the most from getting the armband'.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, he said: "I think I’d stick with who we’ve got at the moment, he looks like he [Fernandes] feeds off that responsibility.
"Bruno has an ego and wants to be the main man. When Cristiano comes in there is no discussing who the main man is.

"There’s no disguising he’s the main man, regardless of who you are, what you’ve done."
Ferdinand added: "I think when Bruno came here he was the main man, a cult figure because of his performances and goals and that was kind of put in the shadows when Cristiano Ronaldo came.
"He’s come off the levels as much as anyone because he was hitting such high levels.
"Listen, the levels he was hitting he couldn’t continue that because it was ridiculous what he was doing, the output.

"But to drop off from where he was, he would benefit the most from getting the armband."
Ten Hag isn't short on captain candidates, with the likes of David De Gea and Varane captaining Man United in the past.
Just like Fernandes who has been backed by Ferdinand to become the club's next captain amid the uncertainty regarding Maguire's future.
