Real Madrid are considering a stunning move for Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo and could make him their sixth-most expensive ever signing.
Caicedo joined Brighton in 2021 and after a brief loan spell in Belgium, the Ecuadorian has been a revelation for the Seagulls ever since returning at the end of last season.
The 21-year-old put in incredible displays against Arsenal and Manchester United, scoring his first Premier League against the latter in a 4-0 thrashing.

He's continued to boss games in the middle of the park this term, with Brighton currently eighth in the league.
And according to Fichajes, Real have been impressed with what they've seen from Caicedo. It's said that president Florentino Perez believes he could be an ideal fit to fill the void Luka Modric will leave when he departs the Santiago Bernabeu.

Modric is still going strong after signing a one-year extension but will turn 38 next year. Los Blancos are already planning for the future with the additions of France pair Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelion Tchouameni.
Caicedo is also in the mix for midfield targets, alongside another player relatively new to the Premier League in Bruno Guimaraes of Newcastle.
Borussia Dortmund and England sensation Jude Bellingham is also highly-rated, while Real also have Enzo Fernandez and Florian Wirtz on their shortlist.
Brighton won't let Caicedo leave on the cheap and are reportedly demanding a club-record £68 million fee.

That would eclipse the £63 million fee they received from Chelsea for Marc Cucurella and would also make Caicedo one of Real's most expensive additions.
He would sit just below the legendary Zinedine Zidane, who went from Juventus to Real Madrid for big bucks back in 2001.
Caicedo, who has also been linked with Liverpool and United, still has three years remaining on his deal with Brighton.

Asked about his future in September, Caicedo said: “I’m very happy here at Brighton. I’m not thinking about any other club than Brighton.
"This is the club where I am now and I will give everything for this club and to keep doing well here."
