A Premier League club could be set to sack their manager ahead of the autumn international break according to reports.
Several managers are under pressure going into the final week of fixtures ahead of the international break, including Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag with the Red Devils\ players favouring a move for current assistant manager Ruud van Nistelrooy if Ten Hag were to leave.
However, it is another struggling manager, whose club are deliberating regarding his future after picking up yet another defeat in their most recent fixture.
Russell Martin’s future is in jeopardy after a torrid start to life back in the Premier League for Southampton, according to talkSPORT.

A 3-1 defeat to Bournemouth on Monday evening will not have helped his case to save his job; the result kept the Saints on just one point from six matches so far this term.
Martin’s side are one of five other teams that are yet to win a Premier League match this season, alongside Wolverhampton Wanderers, Crystal Palace, Leicester City and Ipswich Town, who are also yet to taste victory this term.
Southampton are also the lowest-scoring side in the top flight, with just three goals to show for their efforts, so far this campaign.
After Monday’s defeat, Martin did not hold back when speaking to Sky Sports after the game: “They make 20 fouls to our 10 or whatever it is. I think that sums up the whole game.

"We were soft. The problem -- forget style of play -- is if you don't want to run and fight properly, make contact, take things personally, like a duel, we didn't come out of the ball at all in the first half, then it's going to be a problem.
"I thought I made enough of a deal about Bournemouth and the way they approached the game and how good they are at certain things, but obviously it wasn't enough, because we looked like we were unprepared for that, which, considering the work we've done is crazy.
"I will never, ever come out of here and blame the group of players, we are together. I didn't like a lot of what I saw, and I was hurt by the lack of spirit and fight.

"I told them that, that's nothing I haven't said in the dressing room but it's always on the leader and that's my problem to sort out."
The Saints currently sit 19th in the league, a place above Wolves on goal-difference.
