Premier League fixtures for 24/25 season released with opening weekend including blockbuster game

The new Premier League season will begin on the weekend of August 17/18.

The Premier League fixtures for the 2024/25 season have been released, with the opening weekend including a monstrous game.

The new Premier League campaign will begin on August 16.

The 2024/25 season will take place over 33 weekends, with four midweek rounds and one Bank Holiday match-week.

The final round of fixtures will be played on May 25, with all games to kick off at the same time.

A Friday night clash between Manchester United and Fulham will open the new Premier League season.

And a blockbuster fixture between Chelsea and Manchester City is among the first fixtures of the opening weekend, which will be Enzo Maresca's first game in charge following his appointment.

Liverpool will begin a new era under Arne Slot at Ipswich Town while Arsenal will host Wolves.



Opening weekend of the 2024/25 Premier League season:

Friday 16 August -

Man United vs. Fulham

Saturday 17 August -

Ipswich Town vs. Liverpool

Arsenal vs. Wolves

Everton vs. Brighton

Newcastle United vs. Southampton

Nottingham Forest vs. Bournemouth

West Ham vs. Aston Villa

Sunday 18 August -

Brentford vs. Crystal Palace

Chelsea vs. Man City

Monday 19 August -

Leicester City vs. Tottenham

Final weekend of the 2024/25 Premier League season:

Sunday May 25 -

Bournemouth v. Leicester City

Fulham v. Man City

Ipswich Town vs. West Ham

Liverpool vs. Crystal Palace

Man United vs. Aston Villa

Newcastle United vs. Everton

Nottingham Forest vs. Chelsea

Southampton vs. Arsenal

Tottenham vs. Brighton

Wolves vs. Brentford

Man City pipped Arsenal to the league title last season, claiming their fourth consecutive triumph.

Liverpool and Aston Villa qualified for the Champions League, finishing third and fourth respectively.

Tottenham, Chelsea, Newcastle United, Man United, West Ham United and Crystal Palace secured top half finishes.

Leicester City, who won the Championship title last season, Ipswich and Southampton, who beat Leeds United in the play-off final, were promoted to the top flight.
