The net spend of Premier League clubs have been ranked from between the 19/20 to the current 23/24 season, and some team's positions will shock fans.
The financial fair play rules have divided fans and clubs alike since they were introduced in an attempt to even the playing field in English football. However, they have never been a more topical discussion than they are currently, with multiple Premier League sides facing FFP charges.
The FFP rules state that Premier League clubs can only lose a maximum of £105 million over the course of three years, with Everton, Nottingham Forest, and Manchester City the clubs that are currently facing this charge.
Everton were the first club to be punished for this, as they were deducted 10 points in November for breaching the rules, however, that deduction was changed to six points as an independent commission proved that the Premier League had made errors.

Due to these pending investigations, the net spending of Premier League clubs are being put under the microscope, and the top ten highest-spending clubs between 2019-2024, have been calculated.
The list does include the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City, but perhaps not where you might think with Liverpool only 9th, and City 7th.
The full list via transfermarket:
- Chelsea- €789 million net spend
- Manchester United- €697 million net spend
- Arsenal- €640 million net spend
- Tottenham Hotspur- €535 million net spend
- Newcastle United- €486 million net spend
- Aston Villa- €383 million net spend
- Manchester City- €380 million net spend
- West Ham United- €281 million net spend
- Liverpool- €260 million net spend
- Nottingham Forest- €234 million net spend
The list unsurprisingly has Chelsea top by almost one hundred million euros, as the London club have spent over £1billion since being taken over by American billionaire Todd Boehly.

The likes of Aston Villa and Spurs sitting above Liverpool and City may come as a surprise, especially considering the big money brought from the sales of Harry Kane and Jack Grealish respectfully.
Another shock from the list could be the admission of Everton from the top ten, with the Toffees only having a £24.7 million net spend over the last seasons.
However, Everton's charge was based on their finances regarding their new stadium, which they are set to move in to in 2025.
