Manchester United full-back Tyrell Malacia has been ruled out of the club's pre-season tour through injury.
The Old Trafford club's pre-season campaign is in full swing, after an encouraging 2-0 win over Leeds in Oslo. Indeed, Erik ten Hag's side are preparing to play Lyon next in Edinburgh on July 19, before heading to the US for their first north American tour in five years.
During the stateside trip United face a blockbuster all-Premier League clash against Arsenal, and take on Champions League heavyweights Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.

However, Malacia will be absent from the aforementioned games, having picked up an unknown injury.
Malacia out of US tour
The club announced that Malacia and fellow defender Rhys Bennett have picked up injuries that will rule them out of United's pre-season encounter against Lyon and the tour of the United States.
Malacia made 39 appearances in his debut season in English football, but it appears that the Dutch defender will face a race against time to be ready for the start of the new campaign.

Elsewhere however,United announced Jonny Evans has signed a short-term deal to enable him to take part in the club's upcoming pre-season games in Edinburgh and San Diego.
Evans, who is a graduate of the United academy, had been training with the club's Under-21s while considering his options, having left Leicester City at the end of last season upon their relegation to the Championship.
During the academy training programme, the 35-year-old has also taken part in several first-team sessions and impressed Erik ten Hag and the coaching staff.
Evans, who has been capped 102 times by Northern Ireland, will travel to Edinburgh to take on Lyon on Wednesday, before joining up with the Academy group that will travel to San Diego.
