Liverpool are expected to move for a promising left-back in the summer transfer window, according to reports.
The Reds have enjoyed an excellent 2024/25 campaign so far, as they sit at the top of the Premier League – leading Arsenal by 15 points, having played a game more.
They are also in the final of the Carabao Cup and boast a healthy 1-0 advantage over PSG heading into their Champions League round of 16 second leg on Tuesday.
And despite the success on the pitch, there are several positions which Slot would arguably want to strengthen if his side are to build on what seems likely to be a Premier League title-winning campaign.

The futures of Mo Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold are still unclear with the trio set to see their current Liverpool contracts expire in the summer.
Slot’s side are also arguably short of a back-up ‘number six’ who could potentially fill in if first-choice Ryan Gravenberch was out.
Left-back Andrew Robertson has made several errors and failed to register a single Premier League assist this term.
On Sunday, fans on social media identified Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez as a potential replacement for Robertson, 30, having watched him provide a stunning cross to assist Bournemouth’s first goal in the 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur, which was scored by Marcus Tavernier.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano issued an update on the Serbia-born Hungary international's future in his GiveMeSport column on Monday morning.
Romano explained how Kerkez, 21, was the subject of interest from Liverpool in 2024, and they “remain keen” on signing him in the summer of 2025.
He cited the fact that Liverpool director Richard Hughes knows the left-back “very well” from his time working for the Cherries.

The Italian also claimed that Slot wants to sign a centre-back and left-back this summer with Kerkez being “one of three main names” already “approved” by the Dutch head coach.
It is thought that a transfer would cost the Premier League leaders around €40/45m (£33.6/37.8m), but the south coast club will make a final decision on the price closer to the summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old has registered five assists and two goals in 28 league appearances this season and is contracted to Bournemouth until June 2028.
