Fans spot Erling Haaland's response after Arsenal mock Man City striker at full-time for the entire stadium to hear

Erling Haaland made a telling gesture as Arsenal mocked the Manchester City star.

Erling Haaland had a telling response after Arsenal mocked him following their stunning 5-1 victory over Manchester City.

Arsenal smashed Man City 5-1 at the Emirates on Sunday to close the gap on league leaders Liverpool.

Martin Odegaard opened the scoring in the second minute, with replays showing what Gabriel did to Haaland in the wake of the goal.

In the second-half, Haaland headed home to level proceedings. But Arsenal hit back immediately when Thomas Partey's deflected strike hit the back of the net.

Myles Lewis-Skelly added a third before Kai Havertz scored Arsenal's fourth, with Ethan Nwaneri rounding off the scoring with a late strike.

After the final whistle, Arsenal sent a message to Haaland by playing Kendrick Lamar's 'HUMBLE.' track.

It was played over the tannoy, with the lyrics 'be humble, sit down' blaring out at the Emirates.

He told Arsenal to 'stay humble' following the 2-2 draw last September.

The Norwegian forward had his own response to the taunt.

While applauding the travelling Man City fans, Haaland pointed at his golden Premier League badge, indicating their champion status.

And he also pointed to his head, seemingly suggesting that he believes he is in Arsenal's heads.

Man City have won four league titles in a row, pipping Arsenal to the championship in the last two seasons.

The Gunners haven't won the league title since 2004.

Speaking after the game, John Stones apologised to the Man City fans who travelled to London.

"It's difficult. All of us don't take losing well," he told Sky Sports. "It's hard to put into words straight after a game like that. Pride's hurt. Sorry to the fans that travelled, to come and watch that, how we played in the last 30 minutes, it was not acceptable."
