Arsenal branded 'Cringe FC' as rival fans spot pattern from their players in win over Spurs

Rivals fans all spotted the same thing during Arsenal's win over Tottenham.

Arsenal were branded 'Cringe FC' as rival fans spotted a pattern from their players in their big win over Tottenham.

Arsenal beat Spurs 2-1 on Wednesday to secure three Premier League points and bragging rights.

Son Heung-min opened the scoring with an own-goal from Dominic Solanke levelling proceedings before Leandro Trossard put his side ahead just before the break.

There was an electric atmosphere inside the Emirates as the Arsenal faithful responded to Mikel Arteta's pre-match rallying cry.

And the Arsenal players did their part as they were seen gesticulating to the crowd on several occasions.

Gabriel pumped up the crowd while Myles Lewis-Skelly riled up the fans following his substitution.

But rival fans on social media called out the way Arsenal players carried themselves in the North London derby as people slammed their 'cringey' behaviour.

One X user wrote: "Arsenal players trying to get the crowd going every 5 secs in a derby game at night while gaining points in title race is exactly what I expect from that cringe club."

A second said: "Arsenal might genuinely be the cringiest team ever."

A third added: "4 different arsenal players trying to rile up the crowd in the space of about 5 minutes, absolute cringe fc."

A fourth commented: "Arsenal players trynna rile up the crowd every minute is so fkn cringe tiktok fc."

A fifth exclaimed: "Arsenal and Arteta absolute unbearable. Whole scene is cringe."

Another said: "Arsenal might be the cringiest club and set of players I’ve ever witnessed."

Arsenal, meanwhile, close the gap on league leaders Liverpool, who dropped points at Nottingham Forest on Tuesday, drawing 1-1 at the City Ground.

Arteta's side have recorded 43 points points and are four points adrift of Arne Slot's team.

The Gunners resume their league campaign on Saturday when they host Unai Emery's Aston Villa.
