The all-time leading scorer in the Premier League identified a historic stadium as his favourite to visit during his playing career.
Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer scored a record 260 Premier League goals in 441 appearances for Blackburn Rovers and the Magpies
He played in the Premier League between 1992 and 2006, scoring 112 times for Blackburn and 148 times for his beloved Newcastle.

Shearer won his only league title as a Blackburn player in 1994-95 and they lifted the trophy at a stadium that meant everything to their manager, Kenny Dalglish, and is no stranger to famous moments and league championships.
The former England captain named it as his favourite Premier League ground to visit on an episode of The Rest Is Football.
Shearer, who scored seven goals in 22 Premier League games against Liverpool, named Anfield as his favourite ground as an away player.

"I always used to love going to Anfield because I loved the ground, I loved the atmosphere," said Shearer.
"Maybe I'm wrong but I always felt you got a little bit more respect as a player.
"If you were a half decent player, you got a little bit more respect in Anfield than you did in a lot of grounds.
"They're an incredible football club, but very rarely did you come away from Anfield with anything. But I always enjoyed it just because it's got a special atmosphere."

Shearer is on record as an admirer of the atmosphere generated at Anfield on big European nights and there are many more of those ahead for Arne Slot and the runaway Premier League leaders.
Liverpool stand on the cusp of the title in Slot's first season since replacing Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds have won one previous title in the Premier League era but this season will almost certainly end with their 20th championship overall.

After agreeing new contracts to end speculation about their futures, both Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk will feature in Liverpool's Premier League defence and another crack at the noisy European nights of the Champions League next season.
Since retiring as a player, Shearer has had one brief spell as Newcastle's interim manager and has established himself as one of England's leading football pundits.
