Manchester United have aimed a cheeky dig at Pep Guardiola after the Manchester City manager’s random admission about Oscar-winning actor Julia Roberts.
The City head coach watched his side book their place in the Champions League quarter-finals in clinical fashion with a ruthless performance against RB Leipzig.
Erling Haaland scored an incredible five times on Tuesday evening en route to City’s 7-0 demolition of Leipzig in their second-leg last-16 tie at the Etihad.

Speaking after City’s win, Guardiola told reporters that his three idols included sporting legends Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods as well as American actor Roberts.
The 52-year-old Spaniard hilariously suggested that he would still be seen as a “failure” even if he delivered three Champions League titles to City after Roberts snubbed his side for United.
“I am a failure in the Champions League,” he said.

“If we win the Champions League three times in a row, I will be a failure.
“I have three idols in my life. Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods and Julia Roberts. These are my three idols.
“Julia Roberts years ago came to Manchester -- not in the ‘90s when Sir Alex [Ferguson] was winning titles and titles and titles. She came in the period where we were better than United, in these four or five years, right?
“And she went to visit Man United. She didn't come to see us. That’s why even if I win the Champions League it will not compare for the fact that Julia Roberts came to Manchester and didn't come to see us.

“Even if I win the Champions League, it will not compare to this disappointment I had.”
The United Twitter account on Wednesday took aim at Guardiola with a random throwback post to Roberts’ visit to Old Trafford.
“Throwing it back to when Julia Roberts visited Old Trafford,” reads the tweet, with a smirking face emoji added to the post.
Roberts attended United’s 1-1 draw against West Ham in November 2016 alongside her husband Daniel Moder and her three children.

The Erin Brockovich and Pretty Woman star took to the Old Trafford pitch during her visit and also met with former United players, including Michael Carrick and Wayne Rooney.
