Newcastle United are eyeing Serie A pair Federico Chiesa and Theo Hernandez as Eddie Howe continues to look at a Serie A takeover of his side this summer.
It's a whole new world next season for Newcastle as they return to Champions League football for the first time in 20 years, after finishing fourth in the Premier League.
The last time that the team were in Europe's elite club competition there were two group stages and the Europa League was still called the UEFA Cup.

After an excellent campaign Howe has to look at ways of keeping improving his side to keep the chasing pack out of the top four.
Being backed by the Saudi Arabia PIF wasn't expected to land the manager with that much in terms of budget for this summer's transfer window.
However they have been linked with some of the biggest names available with Champions League finalist Nicolo Barella the first name.

Now it looks like AC Milan star Sandro Tonali could arrive, with one fan so confident that he's already got the midfielder's name on a replica kit.
And according to Italian transfer mavin Gianluca di Marzio the assault on Italy isn't stopping there with both Milan defender Hernandez and Juventus forward Chiesa wanted at St James' Park.
In fairness to Newcastle, flights direct from the city to Milan are only about £60 and you can travel quite easily to Turin from there on the train.

The cheap price and the quality of player make it a no brainer that their scouts would be recommending these Serie A stars back to Howe to sign.
Full back Hernandez is also being looked at by La Liga side Atletico Madrid and the Rossoneri could ask for up to €80 million for the defender.
Chiesa would cost in the region of €60 million and Newcastle aren't the only Premier League team to like the look of him, with Aston Villa also in the mix.
The report does claim that the Italy forward isn't keen on the move to Villa Park but the promise of Champions League football at Newcastle may sway him.

It's only two years ago that Chiesa was impressing on the biggest stages and caught the eye at Euro 2020 but injuries have affected his form since and he only started six league games last season.
