Lionel Messi stole the headlines on his Inter Miami debut but don't sleep on Sergio Busquets' outrageous performance in his first bow on Friday night.
Messi came off the bench at a sold-out DRV PNK Stadium to score a 94th minute free-kick winner against Cruz Azul in the Leagues Cup.
The stunning strike left co-owner David Beckham in tears, while celebrities in attendance like LeBron James, Serena Williams and Kim Kardashian couldn't help but marvel at the brilliance of the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner.
Messi inevitably and deservedly got the plaudits but Busquets, a fellow new signing and long-time colleague of the Argentine's, was sensational.

The Spaniard has also signed with the Herons and entered the fray alongside Messi in the 54th minute. The 35-year-old has just left Barcelona after captaining them to the La Liga title and he rolled back the years with a typically classy midfield display.
Busquets didn't even break a sweat but completely controlled the midfield and kept things ticking over. There was no point in pressing him whatsoever such was his expert close control and ability to change direction.
He linked up with Messi much like the pair did under Pep Guardiola at Barca, finding him with deft passes in between the lines to bring him into play.

A second said: "So technical. Guy was pretty much walking and still controlling that midfield. Pure class!!
A third added: "Nobody can find Messi like Busquets."
