Lionel Messi obliterated a record held by Cristiano Ronaldo during his latest masterclass for Inter Miami.
Messi and Ronaldo are two of the greatest players of all time, with both having won pretty much everything there is to win during their illustrious careers.
Both have also scored a shed load of goals; Ronaldo is the highest scoring player of all time, although Messi is not far behind him.

Although both have stepped down from the elite level, that doesn't mean they aren't still breaking records and achieving incredible feats.
That's exactly what Messi has just done, and in doing so he has got one over his old rival Ronaldo.
The Argentine now plays his football with Inter Miami in Major League Soccer, and on Saturday evening he was at the double as his side came from behind to beat Nashville SC 3-1 at home.

Miami fell behind in the opening moments of the match thanks to an own goal, but Messi drew his side level 10 minutes later.
The 36-year-old secured victory with a late penalty, ensuring Miami stayed top of the Eastern Conference with 18 points after 10 games.
By scoring a brace in the 1,056th game of his career, Messi broke the record for the fewest number of games taken to scored 830 career goals.
Ronaldo held the previous record, although it took the Al-Nassr forward 100 games more to reach the same milestone.

However, the Portuguese superstar still leads the way when it comes to total goals scored.
Ronaldo has scored 885 goals during a career spent playing for Sporting CP, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, Al-Nassr and Portugal.
The vast majority of Messi's 830 strikes came during his Barcelona days, with the rest coming for Argentina, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Miami.
