Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly rejected Chelsea’s approach to replace Graham Potter.
In recent weeks, Potter has been under intense pressure after a seriously poor run of form.
Chelsea have only won one of their last 10 games, with their latest defeat coming at Stamford Bridge against bottom-of-the-table side Southampton.

The Blues players were booed off the pitch on Saturday after another poor showing.
On the back of the poor recent run, it has been reported that Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is looking for a plan B to Potter, who was appointed in September after the club parted ways with Thomas Tuchel.
According to 90min, Chelsea have shown interest in appointing former Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint Germain boss Pochettino.

However, the report claimed that the Argentine turned down the offer from the Stamford Bridge club.
It is believed that Boehly does not want to get rid of Potter without establishing a plan.
The defeat by the Saints left Chelsea 10th in the Premier League table.
During his post-match interview, Potter spoke about the fans’ reaction and his future.

He said: “After a 1-0 defeat at home, any criticism you get is understandable. I think we’ve had a tough period and I think we’ve had lots of challenges in terms of integrating young players into the Premier League. While results don’t go your way it can be tough, that is how it is.
“I’m sure there will be people out there that think I’m the problem, absolutely. I don’t think they’re right but I’m not arrogant enough to say their opinion isn’t worth articulating. My job is to help the team, keep working through a team period, we’ve had to make some changes today and the truth is we took a step back in our performance in the first half. The response in the second half was good, but it wasn’t good enough.”
Can Potter turn this situation around? Only time will tell.
