Mark Goldbridge has been praised by fans for delivering a poignant message on the issue of making teenagers “very, very rich” after addressing the situation involving Mason Greenwood.
Greenwood, 20, has been arrested on suspicion of rape and assault after a woman accused him of assaulting her in photos and videos uploaded to Instagram.
Greater Manchester Police on Sunday confirmed a man, who is in his 20s, remains in custody for questioning and enquiries are ongoing.
On Sunday morning, a video, audio recordings and images were posted on the woman’s Instagram before her account was later deleted.
Greenwood, from Bradford, has not responded to any of the woman’s allegations at the time of writing.

United fan Goldbridge, real name Brent Di Cesare, eloquently spoke about the importance of life lessons like “respect” and knowing one’s “boundaries.”
The 42-year-old YouTuber also candidly addressed the issue of “giving ridiculous amounts of money” to teenagers in football.
Speaking on a livestream (via Mark Goldbridge Bits), Goldbridge said: “With money comes corruption. It’s a lesson in history, and there is a lot of money in football.
“And we’ve got owners who bought us for money. We’ve got players -- and not just our club, other clubs as well -- and we’ve got players who are paid ridiculous amounts of money.
“And when you give teenagers ridiculous amounts of money and they’ve not learned life lessons and they’re surrounded by people saying, ‘You can have that. You can have that. You can have that,’ the reality is I’m a parent, some of you will be parents, some of you will be teenagers.
“The lessons you learn in life that are most important is respect and knowing your boundaries.
“You can’t just take, take, take and, unfortunately, what we are going to do when we make young people very, very rich and surround them with people who say, ‘You can have this. You can have this. You great. You great. You great,’ where are they learning those lessons that no matter how much money you’ve got in your bank account, some things you cannot just take and look, that’s not just relevant to this.
“We don’t know what’s gone on this yet, but it will keep happening.”
Goldbridge’s powerful words made the rounds on social media, with Twitter users praising the “classy” YouTuber for his comments.
