Manchester United star Marcus Rashford is fast climbing the bookies’ odds in the race for the 2023 Ballon d’Or after his stunning run of form at Old Trafford.
Rashford has seen a career resurgence under United boss Erik ten Hag this season and the 25-year-old England forward has been in the form of his life.
The in-form United star has scored 17 times in 18 matches since the end of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, which is the most for any player in Europe’s top five leagues.

United are keen for Rashford, whose current deal at Old Trafford expires in 2024, to sign a new contract with the club amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
Rashford’s sensational form has also seen him strengthen his position with bookmakers when it comes to odds for the next Ballon d’Or winner.
Sky Bet has revealed that Rashford is currently 33/1 odds in the Ballon d’Or race, putting him alongside Tottenham striker Harry Kane and PSG star Neymar.

PSG superstar Lionel Messi is the odds-on favourite to win a record-extending eighth Ballon d’Or award after inspiring Argentina to the World Cup title in Qatar.
The 35-year-old Argentine forward is 2/7 to win France Football’s sough-after individual prize, with Kylian Mbappe second with 7/2 odds.
Speaking after United’s 3-0 win over Leicester City on Sunday, Rashford said that he is “always looking to push and improve” and doesn’t feel like he is “slowing down.”
“It’s difficult not to keep pushing. We’re still early on in the season and we’re fighting for a lot of different things,” he explained.
