Manchester United are set to break an unwritten Erik ten Hag rule to keep Marcus Rashford at Old Trafford.
Rashford, 25, is entering the final 12 months of his current deal with United, who triggered an option to extend his contract by a further year earlier this season.
The England international is in contract negotiations with the club and his failure so far to sign a new deal has led to speculation over his future, with Paris Saint-Germain long-time admirers of the forward.

However, Rashford is expected to remain with his boyhood club and is believed to be close to signing a new five-year deal worth nearly £100m.
The Mirror have reported that United are set to make Rashford the top earner at Old Trafford.
It is claimed the Premier League club are prepared to nearly double Rashford's wages from £200,000 a week to £375,000.
Goalkeeper David de Gea, 32, is currently the highest-paid player at United on a £375,000-per-week deal which expires at the end of the month.
United have reportedly offered the Spaniard a new deal at a reduced £200,000-a-week – and have told him they will not go any higher.

Should De Gea agree to the deal, it would effectively see him and Rashford trade salaries.
Man Utd ready to break Ten Hag 'rule'
Should they hand Rashford his new improved deal, it will break a rule that manager Ten Hag has reportedly tried to implement at the club.
According to The Mail on Sunday, Ten Hag wanted to introduce a salary cap of £200,000 per week at Old Trafford to ensure nobody inside the Old Trafford dressing room is paid significantly more than their teammates.

United were expected to implement the 'Ronaldo rule' after getting Cristiano Ronaldo and his £480,000-a-week contract off their books in November.
But they now look destined to break the rule just months later in order to keep Rashford at the club.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims Rashford is set to sign his new deal soon.
"Manchester United are on the verge of reaching an agreement with Marcus Rashford over new long term deal. He's set to accept the proposal," tweeted Romano.
