Leeds could be set to axe three players following their promotion to the Premier League.
Leeds secured promotion with two Championship fixtures left to play after Sheffield United lost against Burnley – also promoted – on Monday (April 21).
Meanwhile, it was a party atmosphere at Elland Road after the Whites thrashed Stoke 6-0 thanks to four strikes from Joel Piroe and two others from Junior Firpo and Wilfried Gnoto.
Speaking after the victory, head coach Daniel Farke said: "How the lads have handled the last few weeks during this crunch time period when there's lots of pressure on them, the way we have performed in the last few weeks, the spirit and quality of the performances and the consistency of the results, especially with the clean sheets, has been second to none.”

And despite the jubilant celebrations around Elland Road from both the supporters and players, some could be set to miss out on Premier League football next season.
As things stand, three players’ contracts are set to expire in June.

Right-back Sam Bryram, who has featured 37 times this term, will see his deal expire on June 30, with previous reports from the Yorkshire Evening Post suggesting the player would be willing to extend his stay in West Yorkshire beyond the summer.

Midfielder Josuha Guilavogui has featured sporadically in Farke’s side this term and will see his contract expire in June. At 34, the former France international’s future is unclear.
Meanwhile, Firpo’s current contract is set to expire, but judging by his wife’s Instagram post following Monday’s victory, he could be set to extend his time at the club.
“Premier [League], here we come,” she captioned a photograph of the pair standing on the Elland Road pitch.
Left-back Firpo, who joined Leeds from Barcelona in 2021, has been a key player in Leeds’ promotion push this term, having registered four goals and nine assists in 34 appearances.

In March, MOT Leeds reported that despite talks having taken place no agreement was struck regarding the player's future. TEAMtalk also claimed that three Spanish clubs were interested in a move for the 28-year-old.
