Bayern Munich loanee Marcel Sabitzer has been praised by Manchester United fans for his elite mentality after revealing why he has done extra training sessions.
Sabitzer arrived at Old Trafford in the January window in a six-month loan deal, with United manager Erik ten Hag keen to bolster his midfield options.
Ten Hag suffered a massive blow after Christian Eriksen, who has been hailed for his impact at United, suffered an ankle injury in his side’s 3-1 FA Cup win over Reading.

Sabitzer has impressed at United and provided Ten Hag with much-needed versatility in the midfield after Eriksen was ruled out of action until April.
The 29-year-old Austrian midfielder scored for the first time for United in his side’s 3-1 comeback win against Fulham in the FA Cup quarter-finals this month.
Sabitzer has only scored once in nine appearances for United, but the Austria international is keen to make a change to that going forward.

Speaking to United’s official website, the Red Devils player has admitted that he has been focusing on his shooting both during and after training sessions.
“I’ve worked on it [my shooting], very hard and very often,” Sabitzer said.
“After training and during the sessions. I love the shooting. I want to bring it to Man United so I will show it in the games.
“Hopefully, I’m going to score some goals, of course.”

Sabitzer’s loan deal does not include an option to buy at the end of the season, but it is believed the player is open to making the switch from Bayern permanent.
According to reports, United might need to splash out up to £18m to sign Sabitzer from Bayern in the summer transfer window.
Sabitzer’s keenness to improve his shooting earned him praise from United fans, who lauded the Bayern loanee for his mentality and want him to stay at the club.
“First of many, here to stay,” one fan said.
