Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has compiled a transfer shortlist consisting of four players for the upcoming summer window, according to a new report.
The Dutchman is expected to be able to spend a significant amount of transfers this summer - although his exact budget still remains unclear.
Ten Hag recently admitted in a press conference that he did not know how much he would be able to spend on new signings, but sent a warning to United chiefs: "In football you need funds to construct squads because the level from your players makes you successful or not."

The club have had two contrasting windows this season, in terms of money spent. United signed Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez and Antony for a combined fee of over £200 million in the summer, but were restricted to loan deals only in the January window.
Ahead of the summer, they have been heavily linked with a move for Tottenham star Harry Kane, who is yet to commit to fresh terms at the north London club beyond his current deal, which expires in the summer of 2024.
And Ten Hag reportedly has Kane on a shortlist of four players for the summer, which includes two of his fellow England stars.

The Guardian claim that although the Dutchman has targeted a centre forward as his priority for the upcoming window, he also has eyes on adding new faces to the midfield department.

And it is said that United are said to 'step up' their interest in West Ham captain Declan Rice, rivalling Arsenal for his signature in the process.
Furthermore, another alternative for Ten Hag's side is Chelsea star Mason Mount, who is locked in a contract impasse at the Blues and has been linked with moves to Liverpool and Bayern Munich.
And United's second alternative option in midfield is said to be another Blues midfielder, with Mateo Kovacic of interest.
The Croatia midfielder moved to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2018, initially on loan before signing on a permanent basis the following summer. He has made 220 appearances in all competitions for the club, with both Kovacic and Mount winning the Champions League in 2021.
