Jurrien Timber is considering leaving Ajax this summer and his girlfriend has already been house-hunting in Liverpool, it has been claimed.
Timber impressed under Erik ten Hag at Ajax, helping the Dutch giants claim the Eredivisie last term. The defender was subsequently one of the players linked with a move to Manchester United after Ten Hag took the reins at the Old Trafford club.
While Timber opted to stay in Amsterdam at the time, the 21-year-old is looking to move this summer, according to Dutch television show Veronica Offside.

And United are thought to be interested once more, with the youngster having previously played 30 games under Ten Hag in the 2021-22 season.
Last summer Timber allegedly didn't feel moving to Old Trafford was right for the stage of his career, while Ajax had been reluctant to let yet another of their academy starlets go.
And Ten Hag could miss out on the defender once more. Though this time around Timber is allegedly keen to leave Ajax, Liverpool appears to be a more likely destination than United for the player.
Liverpool to sign Timber?
Liverpool may be Timber’s preferred destination this summer, with reports in the Netherlands (via the Metro) claiming his girlfriend has already scouted out potential places to live in the area.

Were he to move to Anfield Timber would be reunited with Netherlands centre-back partner Virgil van Dijk, while former Ajax team-mate Ryan Gravenberch has also been linked with a move to Anfield this summer.
Jurgen Klopp is set to oversee a rebuild at Liverpool this term, with the defence one of several positions that need addressing, with Joel Matip and Joe Gomez having struggled as understudies across the campaign.
