Manchester United midfielder Charlie Wellens played his final game for the club on Wednesday, it has been reported, ahead of a departure at the end of the season.
Wellens, who is the son of Leyton Orient boss Richie, was promoted from the academy's U16 squad in 2019, but has not made his senior debut for United.
Instead, he has spent time around the club's U18 and U21 sides, and spent the first half of the season on loan at National League side Oldham Athletic.

He signed a deal with the newly-relegated Latics until January, with the move being rubber-stamped by then manager John Sheridan.
Wellens started four consecutive games at the beginning of his loan spell, scoring his first senior goal in a 3-2 win over Eastleigh in September.
But following the appointment of David Unsworth, Wellens was substituted at half-time during the ex-Everton defender's first game in charge, and was left out of the matchday squad entirely from October 29 onwards.

He was then recalled by United - and it is said he has now played his final game for the club's reserve side.
Man Utd midfielder set to leave club
The Manchester Evening News claim that Wellens will leave Old Trafford upon the expiry of his contract this summer, with the club choosing not to offer him new terms.
The 20-year-old, therefore, will have lined up for the last time in a United shirt on Wednesday when the club's U21 side took on Blackpool at Carrington.

The friendly ended in a 1-1 draw, but the game ended on a sour note for the midfielder, as he was substituted with an injury in the first half.
It ends a campaign which saw Wellens train with the first team in February, following in the footsteps of his father, a United academy graduate that made one appearance in the League Cup during the 1999/00 season.
Wellens senior is currently celebrating promotion back to League One, having guided Orient to the third tier by winning the League Two title.
The Sun claimed last month that he was on Blackpool's shortlist to replace Mick McCarthy as manager at the end of the season. However, the former Wolves boss has since been sacked and replaced by interim boss Stephen Dobbie, who could remain in the role next season after the Tangerines were relegated from the Championship.
