“Understand it's a four-year pro contract now completed, just waiting for FIFA approval to finalise the deal."
Upon the news being announced however, Man Utd fans have scrambled to find out who Biancheri is.
Who is Gabriele Biancheri?
Biancheri, 16, is a versatile forward capable of operating across the frontline and as a number 10. The teenager is lauded for his quick feet and ability to hit the target from a number of angles.
The youngster has impressed at under-16 level, having netted some 17 goals in his first 11 games of the season, while he was promoted to Cardiff’s under-21 side in January.

Biancheri has played three times for Wales at under-17 level, though he is also eligible to represent England and Italy at international level.
Despite his impressive performances at youth level the forward was relatively unknown until the summer when Chelsea were vying for his signature.
However, Man Utd allegedly received valuable information on Biancheri from development coach David Hughes, who was Cardiff’s academy manager from July 2021 and July 2022.
Biancheri will sign a scholar contract at first with United, as he is yet to turn 17. However once he reaches his 17th birthday in September he will then be on professional terms with the Old Trafford club.
