Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is reportedly "pushing" for the club to sign Netherlands international Denzel Dumfries in January.
Inter Milan defender Dumfries was part of the Netherlands squad that reached the quarter-finals of the World Cup in Qatar.
His club future has been the subject of speculation for a number of months, with several Premier League sides – including both United and Arsenal – linked with a move for the Dutch right-back.

Dumfries has attracted attention after impressing for Inter after joining the Italian club from PSV Eindhoven in 2021.
The 26-year-old has scored seven goals in 65 appearances since moving to Italy.
He is under contract with Inter until 2025 but is being linked with a transfer away from San Siro next month.
Ten Hag 'pushing' for Dumfries
Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg claims United manager Ten Hag is keen to sign his compatriot.

In a post on Twitter, Plettenberg identified Dumfies as a target for United, along with Lyon fight-back Malo Gusto and Bayer Leverkusen's Jeremie Frimpong.
Plettenberg tweeted: "Malo Gusto: The 19 y/o is very highly rated at MUFC and one of several top transfer targets as a right back. Frimpong is still in.
"Ten Hag is pushing for Dumfries. Gusto would be a big solution in summer 23. Bosses estimate a price tag of around €30-40m."
Wan-Bissaka could be allowed to leave
Ten Hag's attempts to sign another right-back as competition for Diogo Dalot suggests that Aaron Wan-Bissaka's Old Trafford career is coming to an end.

The 25-year-old, who joined United in a £50m move from Crystal Palace in 2019, has made just one first-team appearance under Ten Hag - lasting only four minutes.
He is expected to be allowed to leave United should a replacement be found before the transfer window closes.
