Manchester City fans have taken to social media to voice their anger over a graphic used by Sky Sports during the match between Southampton and Liverpool.
Liverpool travelled to Southampton knowing they had to take home all three points in order to take the title race down to the final day of the season.
Jurgen Klopp made nine chances to the team that started the FA Cup final against Chelsea, with the likes of Sadio Mane, Virgil Van Dijk and Mo Salah all rested.

The Reds made hard work of the match as they had to come from 1-0 down to see off Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side, with goals from Takumi Minamino and Joel Matip securing the vital points to close the gap to City to just one point.
City fans were hoping Southampton would do them a favour but Liverpool eventually proved to be too strong. But some eagle eyed City fans had an issue with Sky Sports’ choice of graphic.
During the live coverage of the match, commentators Martin Tyler and Jamie Carragher disagreed with Pep Guardiola’s recent comments about the media wanting Liverpool to win the title. Seconds later, a graphic showed up on screen which led to angry reactions from City supporters.
The graphic in question advertised Sky’s coverage of the final day of the season and included a picture of the Premier League trophy. Normally, the colour of the ribbons are in the colours of the reigning champions, but in this case, they were red, Liverpool red.

City fans also took offence to a poster made by Sky Sports earlier in the week, due to more red being used than blue on the background.
One fan wrote: “I’ve been saying this for years! They never change the ribbons when City wins it! Even in the Prem show opening. They show City for 2 secs lifting the trophy.”
Another fan said: “Red ribbons on the trophy looooool Liverpool might as well start their title parade now.”

City fans will be cheering their team on this weekend as a win against an Aston Villa side managed by former Liverpool player Steven Gerrard will secure a fourth title in five years.
