Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Bayern Munich midfielder Marcel Sabitzer ahead of a deadline day move to Old Trafford, Fabrizio Romano has reported.
United approached Bayern over a move for the Austria international earlier on Tuesday, as per Christian Falk, following confirmation that Christian Eriksen will miss around three months with a serious ankle injury.
Sabitzer has not been a regular in Bayern's starting XI this season, and is said to have been keen on making the move to United to join up with Erik ten Hag's project at Old Trafford.

It is believed that he will move to United on loan until the end of the season, with no indication on whether there will be an obligation to buy.
Now, Romano has dropped the update United fans have been waiting for - but there is still one issue that needs to be solved before the midfielder can join the club.

The Athletic's David Ornstein has revealed that the midfielder will travel to Manchester to complete the move ahead of the 11pm deadline for English clubs, with the possibility of medical tests being required before the deal can be fully finalised.
Sabitzer has played 24 games for Bayern this season in all competitions, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
