Manchester United are interested in signing Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, according to reports.
Current first choice goalkeeper David De Gea is still yet to sign fresh terms at Old Trafford, though confirmation of a deal doesn't look far away.
Erik ten Hag confirmed he wanted the 32-year-old to extend his stay on the weekend, but negotiations continue around the finer details of a contract.

As a result, the Red Devils boss has cast a wide net over potential alternatives, with Brentford's David Raya heavily linked with a move to United.
Martinez's name is the next to be thrown into the mix, with the World Cup winner reportedly 'likely to change clubs' this summer.
Martinez to Man Utd?
Respected Argentine journalist Gaston Edul named United as one of three Premier League clubs interested in signing Martinez, alongside Chelsea and Tottenham.

Edul also stated that he is 'likely to change clubs in June', despite penning a new five-year deal at Villa park last year.
He added that that United's interest is 'likely to go a step further' in the summer transfer market, suggesting Ten Hag could make a move soon.
Fortunately for Ten Hag, the 30-year-old does not have a release clause attached to his contract, although his remarkable contributions for Argentina at the World Cup in Qatar will have added plenty of value to his price tag.
In addition, United could have the edge over Tottenham and Chelsea if Ten Hag is able to secure Champions League football this season, with Martinez likely to want to play in Europe's elite competition.

They remain on track to finish in the top four. Although two consecutive defeats to Brighton and West Ham have cast doubt over whether they can get over the line, with Liverpool breathing down their necks in fifth.
