Manchester United have sent scouts to watch a key transfer target who has a buy-back clause in his contract, according to a recent report.
The Red Devils are already looking ahead to the summer transfer window and want to make sure they are in a good position to land their targets for next season.
They are looking at bringing in a striker to eventually replace Wout Weghorst, who is on loan at Old Trafford until the end of the season from Burnley.

Erik ten Hag's side overcame multiple early season setbacks and were firmly on course for a successful end to the season, having already clinched the Carabao Cup after beating Newcastle United in the final last week.
The shocking 7-0 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday somewhat derailed their progress, but they will be hoping to firmly bounce back in the coming weeks.
One player they are interested in signing is AS Roma striker Tammy Abraham.
According to The Athletic, United scouts have regularly been to watch Abraham and monitor his progress, but face the obstacle of his former side Chelsea having first refusal to buy him back.
Would a return to the Premier League be successful?
Abraham had a great first spell at Chelsea, making 82 appearances and being directly involved in 42 goals. At one stage, he was regarded as a long-term striking option for the Blues.

However, after falling out of favour at the club he made the decision to move to Italy in a £34m deal.
The 25-year-old has continued his impressive form scoring 34 and assisting 10 goals in 86 games so it's not a surprise he's attracting interest from elsewhere.
Abraham would represent a good young attacking option for Ten Hag, and he's also cheaper and potentially less of a risk than other options available to him such as Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen.
However, Chelsea still haven't solved their attacking issues, and Graham Potter could look to pay the £68m required to bring the Englishman back to Stamford Bridge.
