Former Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane has issued a stark warning to Harry Maguire regarding his future at the club.
Maguire has been drafted in to start the Red Devils' match against Nottingham Forest on Sunday afternoon, following injuries to Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane.
Erik ten Hag will be eager to take advantage after Newcastle's 3-0 defeat to Aston Villa on Saturday, which left the door open for United to leapfrog them into third place.

If they are to succeed, however, they will need Maguire and fellow centre-back Victor Lindelof to be at their very best.
Meanwhile, Keane has warned the pair that their future rests on their performances, questioning whether they deserve to be at the club.

He told Sky Sports: "They know that. You're at Manchester United for a reason and you need to deal with Nottingham Forest's defence, or maybe you shouldn't be at the club."
Maguire has been one of thirteen players rumoured with an Old Trafford exit as Ten Hag eyes a major overhaul this summer.
Most recently, the England international was linked with a sensational return to former club Leicester, four years after he left the King Power Stadium in a £80 million move.
The Sun claimed that Leicester were lining up a loan move for the 29-year-old. However, a deal would no doubt depend on the Foxes' Premier League status, with the club currently languishing deep in the relegation zone.

Only time will tell where Maguire will end up next season, but in the immediate future, he could prove critical to United's finishing position.
