Manchester United fans believe they have worked out how Erik ten Hag will use Mason Mount next season.
Last week, Mount signed for United on a five-year contract for an initial £55million. It has been widely reported that the deal also includes a potential £5million of add-ons strongly dependent on appearances and success.
Chelsea rejected United’s first three bids for Mount before reaching an agreement, with the west London club pressured to sell to ease Financial Fair Play (FFP) concerns. While the Blues preferred not to lose a player that had joined them aged six, they were unable to negotiate a new contract, with Mount’s deal having been set to expire next year.

And upon signing Mount said Ten Hag’s United blueprint convinced him to leave his boyhood club.
"Having met with the manager, and discussed his plans, I couldn't be more excited for the seasons ahead," said the England international.
"Everyone can see that the club has made big steps forward under Erik ten Hag. I am hugely ambitious; I know how amazing it feels to win major trophies and what it takes to do it. I will be giving everything to experience that again at Manchester United."
And fans are now speculating over how Mount's will be used next season.

Mount took part in his first United training session last Thursday, and from the subsequent footage, fans believed they have identified Mount’s role in Ten Hag’s system.
Indeed, from the short clip displayed above, Mount looks to have been deployed on the right of the midfield three in training.
On Twitter, krishhutd wrote: “I know it’s just training but interesting to see Kobbie [Mainoo] as the deepest midfielder at times but also playing higher, he also looks like he dominates training.
“Mount playing on the right side of the midfield 3. [Jadon] Sancho looking sharp too hmmm”

Based on the system Ten Hag deployed this season, Mount appears most suited for one of the two No 8 positions usually taken up by Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes.
However, Mount can also have an impact on the game as part of a front three on either wing, as he has proved on various occasions for Chelsea and England.
