Manchester United are currently negotiating with Marcus Rashford over a new contract - but will not go over their new salary cap as the 'Cristiano Ronaldo Rule' is in play.
The 25-year-old is in the form of his life, having scored 16 goals in all competitions this season. United are fourth in the Premier League, five points clear of Tottenham Hotspur with a game in hand.
Rashford's played a vital role in that, scoring against Manchester City, Liverpool and league leaders Arsenal. The club are keen to reward his performances with improved terms as his current deal expires in 2024.

Per The Sun, United won't be going over £300,000-per-week when they negotiate with Rashford. David de Gea is currently United's highest earner at £375,000-per-week, although he's expected to take a pay cut if he signs a new contract.
Ten Hag sees renewing Rashford's deal as a priority as top clubs around Europe would be interested in the England international.

Rashford's representatives reportedly held talks with Paris Saint-Germain over the summer. There is currently no indication he wants to leave his boyhood club after rediscovering his form under Ten Hag.
Ten Hag praised Rashford for soldiering through the pain in Saturday's 2-1 win over Manchester City. He pulled up with an injury in the first half, slapping the ground in frustration.
Rashford emerged for the second half, playing a vital role in the equaliser and scoring the winner.

"I don't think I said he had to learn to deal with it, but he has; he knows how to deal; he knows that in top football you have to suffer, sacrifice, and have painful moments," Ten Hag said post-match.
"Especially a player like he is, he's unstoppable, opponents will go tough against him to stop him. But you have to deal with it, and I think he's capable of it.
"He keeps investing, he keeps going, he keeps focusing for his chances and in the end he got a reward and the team got his reward."
