Liverpool target Jude Bellingham could be interested in joining Manchester United instead this summer, it has been claimed.
The 19-year-old shone for England at the World Cup in Qatar, producing a number of glittering displays which earned him interest from a number of top clubs across Europe.
He has also continued to impress for Borussia Dortmund but is expected to leave the club this summer, with Liverpool and Real Madrid reported to be frontrunners for his signature.

However, The Times journalist Paul Hirst believes Bellingham could be convinced to join United, suggesting Erik ten Hag has transformed Old Trafford into an "appealing" prospect for players.
Bellingham to Man Utd?
United previously attempted to sign Bellingham from Birmingham City in 2020 but their efforts proved unsuccessful, with the midfielder opting to move to the Bundesliga instead.

However, Hirst reckons they might have a second chance, believing that the change in atmosphere surrounding the club could help lure Bellingham to Old Trafford.
The Red Devils have been in excellent form since the World Cup came to an end, and are now just five points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City.
United are through to the fifth round of the FA Cup, where they will face West Ham, while they also have the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle to look forward to later this month.
They are also still in contention for silverware in Europe and on Thursday played out a thrilling 2-2 draw with Barcelona in their Europa League play-off first leg at the Nou Camp.

"Put simply, Ten Hag has turned United into a team that top players will want to join again, which is good news considering that they need to add a striker, a right back and possibly another midfielder to their squad in the summer," Hirst wrote in The Times.
"Imagine for a moment that you were a top-class player watching last night’s thrilling game at the Nou Camp, someone such as Jude Bellingham, for example."
