Manchester United have been slammed for their treatment of goalkeeper David de Gea ahead of his contract expiring.
De Gea's deal at United is up in just four days and the Spaniard will therefore become a free agent.
He was not included in the club's seven-man list of released players posted just over a week ago, with United saying they remain in discussions with their No.1 "over a potential new contract".
However recent reports indicate negotiations are not progressing well and with De Gea said to be unwilling to accept a reduction on his £375,000-a-week wages, it's looking increasingly unlikely that he will be at Old Trafford next season.

Everton's Jordan Pickford, Inter Milan's Andre Onana and Porto's Diogo Costa have all been touted as potential signings in between the sticks if De Gea moves on.
De Gea has come under fire after a series of high-profile mistakes, with many believing that his distribution is not good enough for how Erik ten Hag wants to play.
However, United fan and online personality Mark Goldbridge has a different view and has called out the club for the "disgusting" situation involving De Gea.

Speaking on talkSPORT, he said: "My first stance on this is - and I know there is a lot of fans that would like to see De Gea go for good reasons - I just think this is a guy I really like.
"He's been at the club for 12 years and I think it's disgusting that Manchester United are letting him go to the last few days of his contract and just leaving it hanging there.
"I think the way we treat some players is bang out of order. I suppose it's the result of a chaotic transfer window for Manchester United so far, you've got your goalkeeper there with five days to go and he doesn't know whether he's staying or not."
The 32-year-old signed for United from Atletico Madrid in an £18.9m deal back in 2011. The club's current longest-serving player, De Gea has made over 500 appearances for United, winning the Premier League, Europa League, FA Cup and two League Cups.
