Cristiano Ronaldo’s future is yet to be resolved after the summer-long saga resulted in the Portuguese staying at Old Trafford despite his transfer request.
In July, Ronaldo shocked United to the core as he reportedly demanded the club sell him if a suitable offer was made. However, the club have always been adamant that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner was not for sale.
Ronaldo’s future has again been the talk of the town after he was left on the bench during the Red Devils’ embarrassing 6-3 defeat against Manchester City on Sunday.

After the match, Erik ten Hag said he didn’t put Ronaldo on ‘out of respect for his big career’.
It has been reported that as a result of him being snubbed for the derby, Ronaldo will now look to find a new club in January.
According to the Daily Express, United could have four options lined up to replace the 37-year-old.

Victor Osimhen - Napoli
The Nigerian international was linked with a move to Old Trafford in the summer but a move never materialised as United were not prepared to match the huge £100 million price tag set by Napoli.
Despite his team’s fine start to the 22/23 campaign, Osimhen has struggled to find his best form, he has only scored twice in Serie A.
Napoli are currently top of their group in the Champions League after beating Liverpool, Rangers and Ajax convincingly.

In Serie A, they sit top of the table with 20 points.
Ivan Toney - Brentford
Brentford star Toney could be an option for United as the 26-year-old already has experience in the Premier League.

From the player’s side, he could be tempted to move to a top club like United to boost his chances with England.
After scoring 14 goals last season, Toney has been in good form this campaign. To date, he has five goals in eight appearances.
With age well on his side, Toney could prove to be a smart signing for Erik ten Hag.
Cody Gakpo - PSV Eindhoven

The talented Dutchman was targeted by United in the summer along with Ajax winger Antony, who eventually signed on deadline day.
It was reported that Gakpo was not an alternative to Antony and United planned to sign both players. However, Gakpo stayed with PSV despite late bids by Southampton.
The 22-year-old has since put in some impressive performances for Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side. Gakpo has managed 10 goals and nine assists in 14 matches in all competitions.
Tammy Abraham - Roma
Former Chelsea man Abraham has established himself as a fans’ favourite since his move from Stamford Bridge to Rome.
Having helped Jose Mourinho’s side win the Europa Conference League last season, he will be determined to play a part in moving Roma further up the table in Serie A.
Despite declaring he is happy in Italy, a bid of around £80 million could tempt Roma into doing business.
With his chances of going to the World Cup fading after scoring just twice so far this season, a move back to the Premier League could boost his future England chances.
