Roy Keane was back in a Manchester United shirt as he came on as a substitute against Liverpool for the ‘Legends of the North’ clash.
It was the second leg of the clash after the first leg at Old Trafford ended with a 3-1 Liverpool win. The Red Devils needed a huge performance if they wanted to overturn the deficit from the first match.
United’s starting eleven included the likes of Darren Fletcher, Michael Carrick and Dimitar Berbatov. Whilst Liverpool had former stars such as Xabi Alonso, Maxi Rodriguez and Jerzy Dudek in their ranks.
