Tamara Gorro and Ezequiel Garay, who were once tipped to follow in the footsteps of Victoria and David Beckham, confirmed they had split after 10 years of marriage and more than a year after opening up about their sex life.
Spanish model, actor and influencer Gorro previously revealed that she was too “exhausted” from having sex every day with Garay.
“If you ask me whether I still have the same sexual appetite as before, my answer is no,” Gorro said in 2021.

“I don't know whether it is down to a lack of time or a lack of desire, but the truth is no, I don't.
“But that is how it is. I love my husband.
“But I don't want sex with him every day, as I am exhausted. I think many people will identify with me.”

Garay was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in 2013 and both the former Benfica defender and Gorro were dubbed as the ‘next Posh and Becks.’
The 36-year-old Argentine’s move to Old Trafford failed to materialise, but Garay and ex-wife Gorro are taking a break from their marriage.
An emotional Gorro, 35, fought back the tears during a near 10-minute-long video on her Instagram account as she confirmed the news regarding her marriage.

“We’re going to separate, which doesn’t mean we’re going to divorce,” she told her 2m followers.
“We feel we’ve acted in a very adult and exemplary way for us and our children, which is to stop in time with the hope that we can recover and live our lives together as we’ve always wanted.
“When the moment comes that you’re in a rut, you have two options which are to carry on and on and end up with a burnout that has no solution or take a break with the faith and desire we can continue together.”

Gorro and Garay had two children -- Shaila and Antonio -- together and were married in 2012 after initially dating in 2010.
Garay, who retired from football in 2021 after being devastated by a long-term injury, responded to his ex-wife by calling her the “love of my life.”
He said: “It’s not a goodbye but a ‘see you later.’

“I love you and whatever happens you will always be the love of my life. Thank you for these 12 marvellous years.”
Garay was capped by Argentina 32 times and played for the likes of Real Madrid, Benfica, Zenit Saint Petersburg and Valencia during his club career.
When the former Argentina international appeared likely to sign for United, a Spanish TV station claimed in 2013: “If everything goes to plan, Ezequiel and Tamara could take over from David and Victoria Beckham on the London red carpet.”
