Manchester City have issued a statement regarding footage that has circulated on social media showing Phil Foden and his family 'being harassed and abused'.
On Saturday night, Foden's entourage were involved in a backstage fight at the Kell Brook vs Amir Khan event in Manchester.
Footage appears to show Foden's mum, Claire, being hit by fan who abused the England international in a corridor outside their executive box at the AO Arena.

At the start of the clip, a fan can be heard calling the England international a 'c**t'. Foden then enters into a nearby room with his girlfriend and family.
Moments later, Foden's mother appears from the room to confront the men, asking 'who's calling him'.
After a brief exchange, she pushes one of them before the person involved takes a swing at her. Things quickly escalated from that moment on, with a fire extinguisher being used in the brawl.
Foden's boyhood club Manchester City have since released a statement regarding the clip, saying they are "shocked and appalled" by the incident.
