Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has said he would sell his star player Ronnie Edwards to Liverpool, predicting big things for the defender.
Liverpool have endured a shaky campaign at Anfield, having been dumped from both the FA Cup and Carabao Cup - after winning both competitions last season.
They also crashed out of the Champions League at the last 16, losing to last year's winners Real Madrid 6-2 on aggregate.

Meanwhile they sit in sixth place in the Premier League, seven points off the Champions League spots, albeit with two games in hand over fourth-placed Tottenham.
Their poor form has left Jurgen Klopp with half an eye on the summer transfer window, as he plans to sign a new central defender.
And MacAnthony reckons he knows just the man for the job, suggesting Edwards would make a good fit in Merseyside.
Edwards to Liverpool?
The Reds are reportedly well placed to sign World Cup star Josko Gvardiol this summer, viewing the Croatian as the ideal partner for Virgil van Dijk.

However, Edwards would make a far cheaper alternative, and MacAnthony has waxed lyrical about the 20-year-old.
Speaking on The Hard Truth podcast, the Irishman praised the League One star, teasing that he would love Liverpool to sign Edwards.
“He’s going to have a great career. I’d love my club in the Premier League [Liverpool] to buy him,” said MacAnthony.
Edwards, who has also featured for the England Under-19s, is regarded as one of the most exciting prospects in the division, having played a crucial role in Peterborough's push for promotion.

While Liverpool are unlikely to make a move for the player, Klopp could take MacAnthony's advice and invest in home grown talent, having previously dipped into the lower tiers of English football to help strengthen his squad.
